Cambodia Medical Mission 2025
From July 28 to August 1, 2025, we returned to the floating villages and remote communities of Cambodia for our 5th Annual Medical Mission.
Five years ago, we stepped into these waters for the first time, unsure of how far our hearts and hands could reach. Today, we look back in awe — at the lives touched, the communities transformed, and the bonds that feel more like family than charity.
This year was not only a mission.
It was a homecoming.
It was a celebration.
It was a promise renewed.
By the Numbers — and Beyond
- 2,486 patients cared for, including 804 children
- Medical services in Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Luong, and Peam Ro
- Full health checkups for every student in our IHM school in Kompong Chhnang

Mission Week Highlights
Day 1 – Sharon Botkin Family Center Grand Opening
We opened the doors to our second school building — an eco-friendly, sustainable design already nominated for an international architecture award. It’s more than walls and windows; it’s a safe haven for learning, play, and hope.
Day 2 – Kampong Chhnang
Our clinics bustled with care — from wound treatment to wellness education — each interaction a moment of connection.
Day 3 – Kampong Luong
We navigated the shimmering waters between floating homes, carrying with us not just medicine, but friendship and trust built over years.
Day 4 – Peam Ro
Our first mission here was met with open arms. New faces, same commitment: to meet people where they are, and leave them stronger than before.
Day 5 – Peam Ro & Kompong Chhnang Student Checkups
Every child in our school received a thorough health screening — because education and health walk hand in hand toward a brighter future.
Milestones Worth Celebrating

Looking Forward, Together
Five years in, the needs are still great. Poverty continues to cast long shadows over the futures of too many children. But we have seen what happens when compassion meets commitment.
